Wendy Salafia, E-RYT 200
Wendy has been practicing Yoga for over 8 years. Initially drawn in by the asana—the physical practice of Yoga—she quickly found herself drawn in to the philosophy of yoga as detailed in the Yoga Sutras. Her passion for the practice and her desire to share what she learned with others prompted her to obtain her 200 hour certification in (Iyengar-based) yoga over the winter of 2016-17. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance. During her training, Wendy had the opportunity to study with leading teachers such as Dr. Carrie Demers (Ayurveda), Nicolai Bachman (Sanskrit), and Tias Little (Asana, Philosophy) who are specialists in their fields. Among her ability and enthusiasm to teach at different levels, Wendy’s goal in teaching is to incorporate the many aspects of yoga into a practice that is fun and accessible for all!
